I’m working on a short film project, and I threw together a set of mood boards to examine the approach I wanted to take to composition. I’m experimenting with a lot of spatial expansion using wide lenses to push people apart and establish a lot of context to the space. 
Notable references are obviously “King’s Speech” and BBC’s “Luther.” Both projects utilize a lot of wide angle framing with a heavy emphasis on negative space and heavy headroom.
