Recent fashion startup, Cuyana, has been generating a lot of buzz with their, “Fewer Better Things” approach to fashion. In April the tasked Cultivate Studios with creating a three part brand video series for their re-brand. I worked with them as the director on this project to create a memorable unique approach that would celebrate both the beauty of their products and, the land in which they are made, Turkey. Here is a little glimpse into the trip, it was a heavily compressed time frame so doing my homework on culture and locations in a part of the world I had never traveled before became key to the success of this project. Homework sucks, no one likes to do it, but hey it is necessary.
